Rides - 8:45am for "Climber Ride" & "Moderate Ride"
Ride- 10:00am from Mission Parking Lot in Ventura.

Lunch - 12:30pm

Do not miss out on this very fun Channel Islands Bicycle Club activity. Our annual "All-Club Rides & Summer Picnic" is set for Rincon County Park in Carpinteria on Saturday, July 17th. You can arrive at 8:30am and clip-in for one of our two ride choices along the coast or just show up for the wonderful lunch at 12:30pm. Or, you can do both to make a fun full day of it. Signups will begin in June 1st and ends on July 13TH.

- Three Ride Options to Choose -

One of the very fun picnic activities is cycling around the beautiful Carpinteria area. Join us on one of the many ride options. The "Climber" ride begins at 8:45am, "Moderate" ride also at 8:45am. You can also choose to start at the Mission Parking Lot in Ventura at 10:00am. Two rides start and finish at Rincon County Park in Carpinteria.  There will be a ride leader to guide you thru the route safely with route slips provided. Below is a list of the ride choices, so just click on the mileage link to open up the map route to help you decide which ride is best for you. Please print out your route slip!

- Marshall's BBQ Lunch -

Club Member Adults - $10

Club Member Children (13 & under) - $5

Non Club Members - $20

Club Senior 80+ Members- $10

Enjoy the wonderfully delicious meal provided by Marshall's Bodacious BBQ at the end of the rides, around 12:15pm at Rincon County Park. You have a pick of beef Tri Tip or BBQ Chicken, and Veggie Kabobs as well as all the other goodies provided such as beans, garlic bread, sodas, water and cookies. Reservations will be required by signing up with our CIBC Online Reservations before the July 13 DEADLINE. The prices of the meals, as of 6/1/2021, are:  CIBC Members $10,  Children $5, and Non-Members $20.



- Directions to Rincon County Park -

  

Just a short drive or bike ride to Rincon County Park in Carpinteria. Just head north on the 101 Freeway and exit at Bates Road. Turn left under the freeway and then right onto the entrance road. Parking is along any of the designated spots. Plan to have layered clothing as this park is on top of the cliff overlooking the beautiful ocean only 15 minutes from Ventura.
